Broad Street UMC will hold a Blind Draw Scramble Golfing Event! The cost of this event is $45, which includes 18 holes and a golf cart. When you register, include your age, and handicap if you have one.
The names of those under 50 will be put in one “hat” and the names of those over 50 will be put in a 2nd “hat”. 2 names from each hat will be drawn to determine the foursomes. “Select Shot” allows even those who have not played in a while due to time or age to still enjoy the great outdoors.
Players are limited to the Broad Street Family, but all are welcome to come support the players - and even ride in the golf carts and perhaps take a few shots! All who plan to ride the golf cart or hit a few shots will still need to complete registration.
Dr. Paul Bacon grew up in Cleveland and returnded back home after completing Dental school. Five years ago, Dr. Bacon semi retired after being a Pedatric Dentist for 39 years. As an infant, Paul was christened at Broad Street and he and his wife, Sheryl raised their 2 daughters while attending Broad Street. His love for golf began when he was about 10 years old. Now Dr. Bacon enjoys sharing the sport with others and traveling to both beautiful and challenging courses, near and far.
