Stop the Bleed is an initiative from the American College of Surgeons.  This course aims to teach everyday people to become immediate responders and be able to assist when faced with an individual experiencing life-threatening bleeding, allowing time for emergency personnel to arrive.  The class will contain both a video and lecture component as well as hands-on practice.

Instructor: Jackie Edleblute has completed her MS in Nursing, is certified as a family nurse practitioner, and is currently completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at Lee University.  She is certified as a Trauma Nurse, an Emergency Nurse, and a Pediatric Emergency Nurse.  She has been a Stop the Bleed Instructor since 2018 and is currently employed as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner.
