I pray you are finding the joy and hope that Advent encourages in your life.
 
I write this to remind you that this Sunday, December 4, at 12:15 pm, we will come together in Triplett Hall for a Church Conference. The purpose of the Conference is to consider preliminary plans for the building project. THE CONFERENCE WILL VOTE ON WHETHER TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP IN THE PROCESS. THE NEXT STEP WILL BE TO HAVE OUR ARCHITECT DRAW DETAILED PLANS AND COST ESTIMATES. ANOTHER CHURCH CONFERENCE WILL THEN BE HELD TO DETERMINE THE NEXT STEP. All Church Members will have voice and vote. Make every effort to be present.
 
SUMMARY OF PRELIMINARY PLANS
- Raze 3 buildings on Broad Street
- Build 3-story facility with 23,000 sq. feet
- 19,000 sq. feet will be usable ministry space
- New facility will include:
            Space for full-time weekday Day Care
            Expanded space for Children's Ministry
            Additional space for Adult Classes
            Youth Ministry Space
            Multi-purpose space to accommodate groups for fellowship.
community usage, contemporary worship, large dinners/banquets, and plays
      Office space that will accommodate all program and support
          staff
            A Community Room that will accommodate larger classes, 
               receptions, small dinners, and fellowship
            The new building exterior will complement existing Broad
               Street UMC buildings and be compatible with other
               downtown architecture
