The series of charcoal drawings displayed in the narthex and sanctuary is based on inspiration from the hymn "Spirit of the Living God, Fall Afresh on Me." It is a call for renewal...and a complete surrender. It is an invitation for the Holy Spirit to move in us and throughout us, transforming us into the people we were created to be. The drawings are a visual expression of the felt presence of the Spirit during prayer and worship. The artist is Broad Street member Mary Mathias-Dickerson and will be on display throughout the month of February.
