The Family Promise of Bradley County Fundraiser Luncheon will be held Monday, July 24, 12-1 PM at First United Methodist Church, 3425 N. Ocoee Street.

Tickets are $25 per person or $200 per table of eight. You may purchase tickets online at www.familypromisebradley.org/2017banquet.

Family Promise is an organization that works to respond to the growing need to provide shelter, meals, and support services to children and their families facing homelessness in Bradley County, partnering with volunteers, churches, and businesses.

Thank you, Broad Street UMC and  volunteers who contributed time, food, fellowship, and shelter to families during February and May of this year. Broad Street has volunteered one week each quarter since November, 2011. Over fifty volunteers are utilized each week Broad Street opens its doors and heart to these families by serving home cooked dinners, providing breakfast and luncheon food for school and/or work, and hosting in the evenings and overnight.

We have watched some of these children grow up through our public schools. Two graduated from local high schools this year, one will be attending Lee University this fall. Congratulations to both of them.
